The most awaited "Love Story" starring Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya is coming up on 24th of this month. The film became popular with the most viral song 'Sarangadariya'.
The director of the film Sekhar Kammula in an exclusive talk with greatandhra revealed some interesting things about his new film.
Sharing about the film Sekhar started saying, "This is the love story with a conflict. I made it in my style of music with Telangana background. It's the struggle of a young guy who came from an oppressed background and his struggle in the city. He falls in love with a girl who has a conflict in her life. I touched the social stigmas like caste in this film. It is a conflict driven film".
When asked if touching the caste aspects is going to be beaten track, he answered, "A mainstream hero doing this kind of role will hold value. Moreover this is completely unique. The gender and caste issues I am touching are only the elements in it but it has more to offer".
When asked if choosing the Telangana backdrop continuing the favor of Fidaa holds interest, he said, "There are no similarities. Both are unique. The canvass, the set up, the theme of Love Story are different from that of Fidaa".
Answering a question about Sarangadariya song he said, "We anticipated that it will become a hit. I heard that folk song long ago and suggested Suddala Ashok Teja to change the lyrics. Later we changed the treatment of music and orchestration also. Our last song Vacchinde in Fidaa was also a big hit. There are many other interesting pulling factors for this film other than the song".
Replying to the hopes related to the theatrical collections, Sekhar said, "Many are looking at us with hope to bring back glory to theatres. The family audience those are restricted to their houses are believed to walk into the theatres with this film. It's a pride to an extent and also fingers crossed".
