Nani will be seen in a two-dimension role in Shyam Singha Roy which will be hitting the screens in December.
Meanwhile, his new film is announced on the occasion of Dussehra.
Nani joins hands with a first timer Srikanth Odela and the film is titled as Dasara, after the biggest festival in Telangana.
That’s not all, the makers came up with a glimpse to announce the movie officially and also to disclose its backdrop.
Keerthy Suresh plays Nani’s ladylove in the intense drama, wherein Samuthirakhani will be seen in a significant role.
Nani and Keerthy Suresh’s looks in the film are revealed and the story is set in small village in Singareni Coal Mines in Godavarikhani.
The video shows a moving train carrying black gold (coal) and the lead cast and technical crew is introduced.
The blowing black smoke and steam transforms into Nani’s face and he looks vicious with long hair and thick beard, sporting ear-ring.
Popular Bathukamma song is used as background score with intense sounds added to it.
Nani utters a powerful dialogue, “Ee Dasara Nirudu Lekkundadi… Baanchat… Jammi Vetti Chepthaannaa Baddal Baashingaalaithay… Etlaithe Gatlaithadi… Sooskundaam…”
Apparently, he is learning Telangana dialect to play the role as he mouthed the dialogue immaculately.
It will be interesting to see Nani in such completely mass role in a mass action entertainer.
Sudhakar Cherukuri will be bankrolling Dasara under SLVC banner, while Sathyan Sooryan ISC handles cinematography and Santhosh Narayanan provides soundtracks.
Nani will begin Dasara, after wrapping up his ongoing project Ante Sundaraniki.
