Nandamuri Balakrishna sang the most famous 'Siva Sankari..' last year and released that as a feast for his fans. Now again he came up with another one.
This time he sang the famous Raghuveera Gadyam in Sanskrit written by 12th century poet Vedanta Desika. But Balakrishna called it Srirama Dandakam by mistake or because of not knowing the fact and origin of this great literary work.
First of all, Raghuveera Gadyam is not in the format of Dandakam. Many poets wrote Sri Rama Dandakams and they are totally different from Raghuveera Gadyam.
Balakrishna sang this on the occassion of NTR's 99th birth anniversary. He also shared that the legend's centenary is going to be celebrated next year.
Balakrishna is successful in singing this tongue twisting free verse poetry with ease, though not musically pleasing.
His passion towards literature has to be appreciated. He is unique in this domain when compared with the star heroes of his age group.
