Popular TV anchor Bittiri Sathi’s new show on Sakshi TV is all set to go on air and the promo has become viral.
In his first promo for Sakshi TV, the comedian took a dig at TV9, his former employers who made him quit the channel over a silly reason.
TV9 bosses asked him why did he keep his father’s photo in ‘iSmart News’ program on the Father’s Day special. His reply didn’t satisfy the channel management.
Soon after quitting TV9, he joined Sakhi TV and the promo also mentions the Father’s Day event in the channel, and he takes a direct dig at the former channel who asked him to keep his mouth shut and work as per their orders.
Bittiri Sathi concludes that the current place (Sakshi TV) is where fathers are respected.
As he utters this dialogue, late YSR’s photo appears in the background giving more depth to his promo.
Bittiri Sathi’s satirical show will now air on Sakshi TV daily.
