Clap Entertainment, in association with Mythri Movie Makers produced Kiran Abbavaram’s upcoming mass action entertainer Meter.
Producer Chiranjeevi (Cherry) who previously made experimental movies like Okkadunnadu, Mathu Vadalara and Happy Birthday made his first commercial entertainer with Meter.
“Other than the commercial elements, the movie has a strong story. Ramesh Kaduri initially wanted to make the movie with a star hero. We approached a few stars. But almost every one of them was busy with other projects. In the meantime, Kiran Abbavaram’s SR Kalyanamandapam was released. When he was narrated the story, he gave his nod immediately.”
Cherry feels Kiran played the role fittingly. “Kiran Abbavaram is an actor who has the ability to play any given role. Already, he has done many movies of different genres. This role also suited him perfectly. His mannerism, energy, and style are of next level.”
The producer admits that the budget was increased. “Budget was increased for almost every movie of mine. When we want to make qualitative projects, obviously there will be some upsurge in the budget. Likewise, the budget of Meter was also increased.”
The movie Meter is coming on 7th of this month.
