The much-anticipated Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Vishwambhara has been delayed once again.
Initially scheduled for a Sankranti 2025 release, the film was later pushed to May 2025, and now, it has been postponed further.
According to sources close to the production, the delay is primarily due to extensive visual effects work.
The team is committed to delivering top-notch VFX, as the producers aim to make Vishwambhara a groundbreaking visual spectacle for Tollywood.
To achieve this, some of the VFX work has been outsourced to the team that worked on James Cameron’s Avatar. Given the high-quality requirements, the film’s release has been postponed indefinitely.
Directed by Vassishta of Bimbisara fame, Vishwambhara promises to be a cinematic experience blending mythology with a futuristic narrative.
Featuring a stellar cast that includes Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, and Ashika Ranganath, the film is being produced as a big-budget visual extravaganza.
