Manchu Vishnu made a promise of constructing a building for the Movie Artistes Association within a year before the elections for the association last year. A year later, the promise remained a promise.
During his campaign, he posted a selfie video driving through his car in Jubilee Hills. He said he selected two plots in Jubilee Hills for the MAA building.
A year later, he said he would buy space for the “MAA” office in the new towers of the Film Chamber.
On Thursday, he updated the “achievements” of his tenure of one year in the media.
“We have given two options for our members – constructing a building in a place which is a 30-minute drive from Film Nagar and buying space in to-be-build new towers of Film Chamber. The majority of our members chose the second option,” he said.
So, the separate building for MAA will remain a dream. All Vishnu does is buy a space in the new building of the Film Chamber, whenever it gets constructed in the future.
