There is a reason for those rumors. Recently, there was an update about the NTR-Prashanth Neel movie. Mythri Movie Makers announced that the movie will begin regular shooting in August.
Many thought that if this happened, Salaar 2 would be shelved. The unit apparently denied those speculations with the latest photo.
According to the schedule, the sets for Salaar 2 were supposed to be ready by now. Both Prithviraj Sukumaran and Bobby Simha announced that they would be on set from the last week of May. But that didn’t happen.
