Villagers At The Border Watched 'Pushpa' In AP

The villagers close to AP border in Telangana made their attempts to watch the film in AP theaters as the ticket prices were pretty less over there.

It is known that the tickets in Telangana were sold at not less than Rs 250 in almost all the theaters.

But in Andhra Pradesh, the tickets in the theaters were of different slabs and so the daily wage workers and the youngsters from poor backgrounds preferred watching there.

On the other hand, the system was very strict on the theaters that violated the GO.

A YSRCP MLA in Nellore district directed a movie theater to screen an early morning show stating that he would manage the system. But, knowing this, the system has strictly ordered the theater owner not to screen the night show as the four shows per day were already completed. So, nepotism and political influence also didn't work in the state of AP.

Though many assumed that the High Court had given free hand for all the exhibitors to sell tickets at higher prices the next day it was proved wrong.

The High Court in its verdict said that the exhibitors may sell tickets at their prices only after taking permission from Joint Collectors. It is obvious that the Collectors follow the government orders.

Sources say that 'Pushpa' may lose almost 20 - 30% of its share with these ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh.
