The much-hyped Kannada film “Vikrant Rona” had a good run on the first weekend in the Telugu states – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
While Ravi Teja’s “Ramarao On Duty” bombed big time, Sudeep’s film had takers in some centers.
The film raked in a good amount in the first weekend. Seeing the collections of the movie in the first three days, Sudeep came down to Hyderabad and celebrated the success. But things changed thereafter.
The film collapsed on Monday. The scene on Tuesday and Wednesday is no different.
The collections during weekdays are abysmally low. “Vikrant Rona” received negative reviews and mixed word-of-mouth but the initial traction was there.
“Vikranth Rona” turned out to be a weekend wonder. The film will have to compete with two new releases this weekend – “Sita Ramam” and “Bimbisara”.
In Karnataka, the film is a blockbuster.
