When everything falls in place, legendary actor Kamal Haasan can create wonders at the box office. He has proved it again.
“Vikram” turned out to be a big hit in the Telugu states. As on today, the film collected a whopping Rs 17 crore share.
Kamal Haasan sold the film’s Telugu theatrical rights to Sudhakar Reddy (actor Nithiin’s father) and co for Rs 5 crore. Nithiin’s father and his partners will be making nearly Rs 10 crore profit on this project.
‘Vikram’ is the biggest hit in recent times, when we calculate returns on investments.
When the film was released, box office pundits predicted the producers would make one or two crores of profit. But the film worked with the youth and mass audience big time and continued its dream run for three weeks.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, “Vikram” is all set to become the all-time highest grosser in Tamilnadu beating “Baahubali 2”.
