Vijayendra Prasad, the senior writer and now a Member of Parliament sitting in the Rajya Sabha, has lot to do in the ongoing sessions. He has the opportunity to raise important points and discuss critical issues.
However, it seems that unlike other members, such as PT Usha, who utilize their term to address significant matters, Vijayendra Prasad appears to be spending his time leisurely and providing misleading information to the National Media.
Recently, there was a report in the National Media stating that the script for RRR 2 is in progress, and the shooting is scheduled to take place in Africa.
The National Media wrote quoting Vijayendra Prasad- “After the release of RRR I shared an idea of the sequel where the story continues with Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (NTR Jr) set in Africa. Knowing my son’s temperament he will not pay any attention to the sequel idea till the movie with Mahesh is finished. After that if he likes my script and if both the heroes like the script and if they have the time…”.
This indicates a deliberate attempt to keep RRR 2 in the news without any official confirmation.
Surprisingly, neither Rajamouli nor Ram Charan and Jr NTR have disapproved or condemned the information. It appears that everyone involved enjoys the attention of being in the national news, even if it means spreading lies.
Lying to maintain buzz or public interest is not an appropriate practice, especially considering Vijayendra Prasad's age and standing.
Moreover, claiming that Rajamouli will only consider the RRR sequel after completing Mahesh Babu's film raises doubts about its credibility.
The statement lacks believability, and it seems to be a tactic to keep the public engaged without any concrete plans in place.
