Vijayendra Prasad Did Great Favor To Me: Kangana

Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivi, which is about the life story of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and legendary actress J Jayalalithaa is due for release on 10th of this month in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.

Directed by AL Vijay, the political drama also has Arvind Swami playing MG Ramachandran.

The film’s pre-release event took place in Hyderabad is graced by the core team including Kangana and Arvind Swamy.

Writer Vijayendra Prasad said that it was he who suggested Kangana Ranaut’s name for the project.

Arvind Swamy said, “I’m extremely delighted that I’m back in Telugu with Thalaivi. It’s a very special film, not just the fact that it deals with such iconic characters. I realized that it’s going to be an extraordinary film, after I started working for the film. The process of working for the film is absolutely magic for me. Kangana is exceptional in her role. We saw the film few days ago and we assure that, it’s an extraordinary film.”

Kangana said, “I’m full of gratitude for everyone. It’s Vijayendra Prasad who suggested my name for the project. Today, I feel that what a great favor he’s done to me. I thank my producers from bottom of my heart for taking up a women-centric project made on such high budget. Director Vijay is the loveliest and most humble human being. He’s the most the talented one, I’ve ever worked with.”
