Controversial astrologer Venu Swamy has finally issued an apology for his remarks about Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita’s marriage.
He appeared before the Telangana Women's Commission and apologized, assuring that he would refrain from making further comments about actors and their personal lives.
As part of his apology, Venu Swamy submitted a formal letter to the commission, affirming his commitment to avoid such statements in the future.
Shortly after Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita announced their engagement, Venu Swamy shared a video on social media in which he predicted that their marriage would not last and that they would not stay together for long.
Following complaints filed by the Telugu Film Journalists Association and other parties, the Women's Commission issued him a notice.
Initially, he refused to comply, hoping to receive relief from the High Court. However, the court directed him to appear before the commission, leaving him with no option but to comply.
Ultimately, Venu Swamy appeared before the commission and offered a formal apology, bringing an end to the controversy.
