Actor Naga Shaurya made caustic remarks against young director Venky Kudmula who made debut with “Chalo” that was produced by Naga Shaurya’s mother.
However, Venky Kudumula whose second film is releasing tomorrow refused to hit back at Naga Shaurya’s criticism.
“It is a purely private matter. I don’t think audiences and common people would evince interest on my issues,” he said when media broached the subject of Naga Shaurya’s comments. The director said his work would speak and avoided to stoke the controversy further.
Just before the release of ‘Aswathama’, Naga Shaurya in an interview with a TV channel said he was deeply hurt with Venky Kudumula as the director cheated him and his mother. He alleged that Venky even sold off the car that his mother gifted.
However, Venky Kudumula said, “that was the first gift for my first film. How would I sell it off? It is still with me.”
