Victory Venkatesh is one actor who has had a celebrated innings in Tollywood and is still going strong.
The non-controversial actor respects his fellow actors and is loved by his contemporaries and the public alike.
Venkatesh’s daughter is married to the grandson of Surender Reddy who is the Chairman of Hyderabad Racing Club. It appears as if the love of horses has rubed off on Venkatesh too.
In the last race at Malakpet on Sunday, a horse called Thunder Road ridden by champion jockey Akshay Kumar won easily and lived up to its tag of being the piping hot favourite.
Venkatesh is one of the owners of this horse and he is apparently tasting success on turf as well. Incidentally, Ram Charan’s family also owns some racehorses in the name of Pratap Reddy and Upasana Kamineni.
Apparently, Tollywood biggies are now seriously contemplating ‘racing’ as an investment and a status symbol.
