Finally, Mega Prince Varun Tej’s period action thriller Matka has begun. The regular shoot of this Pan India film being helmed by Karuna Kumar commenced today.
The team erected a huge set in Hyderabad. The team also created the setting of the 80s, given the story happens in that period.
Varun Tej will be sporting a macho look in the movie based on real incidents in Vizag that shook the entire nation.
Matka will have some breathtaking action blocks and the makers zeroed on 4 fight masters to look after fights.
Nora Fatehi and Meenakshi Chowdary will play the leading ladies in the movie. Vyra Entertainments will bankroll the project.
