Varun Tej Revives Shelved Sports Drama

Varun Tej announced last year that he was going to do a film based on a real-life sports drama.

It was said the film would introduce a new director named Kiran. He even went to the USA to undergo training as a boxer.

But for some reason known only to him, he put off the film. In its place, he signed for Harish Shankar’s film “Valmiki.” After the blockbuster “F2” and an average grosser “Valmiki,” he looks like he got the confidence to experiment.

Now, Varun Tej has decided to revive the shelved project. The film on the life of a boxer is going to be launched again.

Since the film marks the debut of his brother-in-law Allu Bobby as an independent producer, he is taking up this film.

The boxing drama will be bankrolled on October 10. It will be made on a limited budget. The concept-based drama will be his next release.

Meanwhile, Varun Tej updated his Twitter with the latest photoshoot pics saying that he’s working. He is ready to begin his new film.

He is sharing photos from this new photoshoot he had done for a magazine.
