Vakeel Saab, the upcoming film of Pawan Kalyan is creating a new heat wave in the industry.
It is known that Dil Raju produced the film by offering a huge pay pack of Rs 50 Cr to Pawan Kalyan.
Surprisingly, like never before never after record, it was sold at Rs 42 Cr only to the Andhra Region. So, to break even, the film should become a Bahubalian hit. At least it should collect Rs 100 Cr gross only in AP to make the distributors safe.
So, considering the situation, Dil Raju is coming up with a mega plan. He kept the area of Vizag with him. So, he is planning three benefit shows starting from the midnight 12 AM of the release date. Much to the shock he fixed the price of that ticket at Rs 1500. He is also planning benefit shows early in the morning as well, of which the ticket price is fixed at Rs 500. The uniform ticket price in all the areas for the first week is Rs 200.
That way Dil Raju and other distributors who follow him are in the swing of cashing the maximum collections, before the morning show itself.
If they can make this feat happen successfully with full houses, then they can recover 50% of the investment by the first weekend.
Mega fans and Jana Sainiks are being used to sell the tickets at these exorbitant prices. Some distributors are also planning to sell the tickets to them at wholesale price of Rs 300 to Rs 500. The distributors and the Jana Sainiks are in the mood to make money with Vakeel Saab.
The long weekend is an added advantage for this film. On the other hand Gopichand-Tamanna's "Seetimaar" got postponed. For "Wild Dog" the theaters are only engaged for only one week in maximum centers. Sultan is a dubbed film and it can create no impact on Vakeel Saab. That way, there are many advantages for Vakeel Saab.
But there is a big hurdle here. This plan is subject to the government's permission for the benefit shows amidst Covid norms. When the schools are closed and the public gatherings are getting restricted, there is a big doubt if the two state governments grant permission to this. Dil Raju and the distributors should pray for flattening the Covid curve by the time of release.
