The USA box-office has been going through the lowest phase from the last year or so. In particular, the last two months had witnessed a dull show. Luckily, 2019 is now ending with a super hit.
Sai Dharam Tej and Maruthi’s “Prati Roju Pandaage” had collected more than half a million dollars in its second weekend. Incidentally, this is the only movie in Sai Tej’s career that grossed more than 500k in the USA market.
The film has given a good finishing touch to the year 2019.
While this film continued to attract the audiences even in its second weekend, the last week releases didn’t put any bright any show.
Critics have showered praise on a thriller named “Mathu Vadalara” but the film has failed to even touch the mark of 100k dollars.
The screens were increased during on Saturday and Sunday but it has not capitalized on the good ratings and word-of-mouth.
Raj Tarun’s “Iddari Lokam Okate” has proved once again that this star can’t even bring openings at all, the film didn’t even bring in 1000 dollars.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Ruler” was a washout. Among Bollywood movies, Akshay Kumar’s “Good News” had a good run. It has raked in more than 1.4 million dollars.
