Megastar Chiranjeevi is elated with his nephew’s debut film turning big hit. “Uppena” is his nephew Vaishnav Tej’s debut vehicle as a hero.
It was Chiranjeevi who closely monitored this film right from the scripting stage.
As the film is heading to join the Rs 50 crore (share) club, Chiranjeevi sent gift hampers to all the cast and crew of the movie along with personal notes.
Devi Sri Prasad, director Buchi Babu, producers Naveen and Ravi, actress Krithi Shetty and others had received personalized gifts and personal notes.
From Chiranjeevi’s family, Vaisshnav Tej is the 10th member to become an actor. All of them had used Chiranjeevi’s brand for their entry.
But Vaisshnav Tej had a dream debut as his first film collected revenue on par with a big star movie.
