Generally the flop films do hit the OTTs very soon. The films like Raj Tharun's Power Play, Rajendra Prasad's Gaali Sampath were appeared on OTT platforms within a few weeks of their release.
Now two more films are coming up in this line. They are Chavu Kaburu Challaga and Wild Dog.
The debutant director Koushik's "Chavu Kaburu Challaga" starring Karthikeya and Lavanya Tripathi has failed at the box office. This film proved to the biggest disaster on Geeta Arts 2 banner. Now this is coming up on AHA on 23rd of this month.
Nagarjuna's Wild Dog is also coming up on Netflix shortly. This action drama has turned a disaster at the box office. Despite good reviews, the revenues were miserable.
After the release of Vakeel Saab, this has become further week. So in the third week of May, Wild Dog is releasing on Netflix.
Initially Wild Dog was made only for OTT with a Rs 27 Cr agreement. But after seeing the result of Uppena and Jathi Rathnalu, the makers have cancelled the agreement and hit the theatres. With in a day, the makers realized that they have taken wrong step.
So, Wild Dog, that is supposed to be direct OTT release, is coming up little late on Netflix.
