Nani starrer “Tuck Jagadish” is all set to be streamed on Amazon Prime soon. The streaming company bought the movie’s exclusive digital rights for a whopping Rs 37 Crore.
Last month, Nani declared that his heart beats for movie theaters and gave a long speech about the importance of saving the theatrical business.
Even Telangana Theaters’ Association also appealed to the producers not to release it on OTT space until October.
But Nani and his makers have decided to sell off the rights to the OTT platform.
Distributor Lakshman, who earlier had a partnership with Dil Raju, also canceled the distribution agreement to enable the film to have a direct digital release.
Now, Dil Raju is demanding to know how Lakshman can cancel the theatrical business agreement when the Telangana Theaters’ Association had urged the producers not to release it on OTT until October. Lakshman has acted against the Association's interests.
Dil Raju has raised this point against Lakshman. Dil Raju and Lakshman were partners in the past, but now Lakshman is working against Dil Raju.
