The Telugu film industry saw a series of hits last month. 'Sita Ramam', 'Bimbisara', and 'Karthikeya 2' made big money. But this month, the scenario is different.
Last Friday, new Telugu films hit the screens and none of them posted decent numbers.
The collections for all new releases that include “Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali”, “ Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsina Vaadini”, and “Saakini Daakini” are almost nil. None of these even recover expenses such as theater rentals.
On Saturday, dubbed movie “Life of Muthu” was released in select theaters. The film received appreciation but the collections remained on the lower side.
Sharwanand’s “Oke Oka Jeevitham” and “Brahmastra” gained during the second weekend.
