Four big films have hit the screen this Sankranti 2021. They are Ravi Teja's "Krack", Vijay's "Master", Ram's "Red" and Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas' "Alludu Adurs".
On a whole, at the end of the festival season "Krack" is declared to be the Sankranthi winner as rest of all failed to entice the audience in expected manner.
Krack:
Though there was delay in release due to the producer-financier issues, the film successfully pulled the audience to the theatres, though the evening shows became the first day first show of the film. Interesting narrative of the film with three elements like Rs 50 note, a mango and a nail attracted the family audience as well.
Master:
Vijay- Vijay Sethupathi starrer "Master" that was released amidst huge expectations is expected to dent the collections of "Krack". Though there was a slump in the second day shows, "Krack" could emerge with more collections pushing "Master" backwards. "Master", a film made only for Vijay fans couldn't pull the attention of Telugu audience as his fan base is smaller in Telugu states.
Red:
Ram's "Red' was also released with huge expectations. But it couldn't meet the required mark to become a winner. The serious thriller might have been good to release in non Sankranti season, as the mood of the audience in this season will be different.
Alludu Adurs:
This Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas' film is assumed to be the F2 of this year. With Biggboss fame Monal Gajjar's item song, with the presence of real life lockdown hero Sonu Sood, with the appearance of Jaya Prakash Reddy who was deceased in lockdown time, the film would have been a huge success had the story and screenplay were intact. It didn't work at all.
Finally, the Sankranti 2021 winner is "Krack".
