1. Bhagavanth Kesari: Starring Balakrishna, Kajal, and Sreeleela, the movie initially experienced a moderate opening.
Unfortunately, it faced a significant drop of more than 60% on the second day. Nevertheless, it showed a slight resurgence on the third day.
Despite grappling with box office challenges to meet the anticipated performance, this film claimed the top spot of the season due to its overall collection in AP and Telangana.
On its fourth day, Bhagavanth Kesari has made Rs 8 crore. At the end of the fourth day, the Telugu film collected Rs. 39.4 crore.
2. Leo: This film starring Vijay's has emerged as a hit, garnering positive responses in both its Telugu and Tamil versions.
While the younger audience has responded well to this film, it has distanced the festival audience due to its violence, lack of entertainment, and dark suspenseful thriller elements.
In Telugu states, Leo is competing with Nandamuri Balakrishna's Bhagavanth Kesari and Tiger Nageswara Rao.
3. Tiger Nageswara Rao: Much to the surprise of many, the film had a disappointing start with low openings, failing to capture the attention of the audience on the first day, despite Ravi Teja's leading role.
The talk surrounding the movie has also been negative. With such unfavorable reception, this new film proved to be the least favored film of the week.
Directed by Vamsee Krishna, the film debuted with Rs 6.55 crore. According to trade sources, the film made Rs 14 crore in India.
4. Ganapath: Despite a strong ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Tiger Shroff, and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, this Bollywood movie, released during the Dasara season, has unfortunately turned out to be a disaster.
"Ganapath" is a futuristic action thriller set in the year 2070, portraying a world divided between Silver City and Gareebon Ki Duniya.
The film narrates the story of Ganapath, who emerges as a symbol of hope, aiming to bridge the gap caused by the unjust division in society.
The Tiger, Kriti film earned Rs 2.25 crore at the box office on Sunday while it managed to earn Rs 2.5 crore on both Friday and Saturday. The film's total stands at around Rs 7 crore as of day 3 at the box office.
The movie witnessed an occupancy of 10.57 percent if reports are anything to go by.
5. MAD: Entering its third weekend since release, the film continued to draw a significant audience, as expected from its opening day.
The movie successfully engaged the youth with its witty and humorous comedy. Despite a noticeable decline in theatrical collections, it remains one of the preferred films of the week.
