Tamil superstar Vijay's Whistle had a decent first weekend. He now has a consistent and solid market in Telugu States. The Tamil masala film got benefited from having a big release here.
2) Khaidi: There's nothing that can help a film's box office prospects than good word of mouth. Khaidi is the best example for how a film can get benefitted by it.
Khaidi opened on a dull note on its first morning, but picked up by Friday evening and did pretty well on its day 2 and 3.
It will be a profitable film for its buyers as it was sold for pretty reasonable prices.
3) Rajugari Gadhi 3: The popularity of this horror comedy franchise helped it to earn decent numbers despite its weak content and silly humor.
Ohmkar cannot rely upon the franchise advantage if he is in plans to do another one.
4) Housefull 4: Housefull 4 opened to scathing reviews, but the successful track record of the franchise and the huge star cast ensured good opening during the festive weekend.
5) Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy: Theatrical business of Sye Raa in Telugu States has come to a close in Telugu States. It has set a new benchmark for Non-Baahubali movies in Telugu States.
Poor marketing and the clash with War has affected its business in Non-Telugu markets.
