1) Sultan: This is the dubbed film that was released this week in less number of theatres. There has been no big hype surrounding this movie. But surprisingly, this Karthi starrer stood number one in collections.
Despite the straight film "Wild Dog"starring Nagarjuna is also released on the same day and garnered good talk, it couldn't surpass Sulthan in the first weekend collections.
Its run in the weekdays has to be seen but it is sure that it slows down or vacates the list with the release of Vakeel Saab this weekend.
2) Wild Dog: Nagarjuna is seen as an NIA Cop in this manhunt thriller. Inspired from the real story, the film was made on the lines of a perfect action thriller without the concoction of any songs and love track.
The film received positive response from several corners. The word of mouth publicity is also reasonably good. But still Nagarjuna's stardom associated with this genre couldn't pull much crowds to the theatres.
Its weekend run is below average and the week day collections may be duller. It is shocking to see that this film couldn't even compete with the dubbed film Sulthan that made just average collections.
3) Rang De: Nithiin-Keerthi Suresh combo is still making some sound at the box office even after the second weekend.
The collections are going dull but still some audience those love to watch rom coms are still making their presence in the theatres.
The film couldn't receive unanimous positive talk and that is one limitation for this film not making the desired collections to break even.
4) Godzilla Kong: This Hollywood product is making continuous collections in the multiplexes of big cities. Apart from English and Hindi, even the Telugu version is released in several screens.
The patronage from the young audience is making this film survive for many weekends.
Though less known to the mainstream Telugu audience, this film is making the theatres contended with enough ticket sales to run the show.
5) Jathi Ratnalu: This blockbuster of the season has slowed down its collections in both the Telugu states. Though it made considerable collections till the last weekend, the drop is observed this weekend notably.
The film has made enough fortune from the theatres and the rest of the audience those heard about its success are waiting to watch only on online streaming platforms.
It is expected to see the movie on any of the OOTs at least within a month.
