1. Most Eligible Bachelor: The film was released amidst many expectations. The interesting trailer and the casting pulled the attention of the audience in this festive season.
Though the film got mixed talk, the collections could do the break even.
Many expected that it would be the first big hit for Akhil Akkineni. We have to see how it fairs well from today.
2. Pelli SandaD: The film made in 1990s style under the direction supervision of Raghavendra Rao is liked by a set of audience though many rejected it.
Surprisingly, the film could pull traction at the B and C centers especially in Andhra Pradesh.
This debut of Srikanth's son Roshan and Kannada actress Sai Leela offered some KRR's nostalgia for the audiences in the 40s.
3. Maha Samudram: This most promising multi starrer from Ajay Bhupathi toppled miserably.
Though the openings were good, the subsequent collections were so poor that it couldn't even cross the fourth week collections of Love Story in some centers.
The festival audience outrightly rejected the film and many theatres have removed this to screen Pelli SandaD.
4. Varun Doctor: This surprise film is still making merry at the box office even after the end of second week.
In many centers the collections were almost equal to that of the festival releases. The word of mouth publicity worked well for this Shiva Karthikeyan's dubbed film.
5. Love Story: The film stepped into the fourth week and is still making some noise at the box office, though the collections dropped down heavily.
As the biggest genuine hit after the second wave, this Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya starrer shot up as a musical chartbuster first, which helped it to become a blockbuster at the theatres as well.
The film stands up as a milestone in Sekhar Kammula's career.
