1) HIT: Last week’s release Hit has successfully crossed the breakeven mark. Positive word of mouth and brand Nani ensured this low budget film to be a safe venture.
It wouldn’t make much profits through theatricals as the collections have gone down considerably due to examination period and Corona effect.
2) Bheeshma: Trade expected Bheeshma to create sensation at the box office after it opened to super hit reports in its first weekend. But it will settle with hit status due to examination season and corona scare.
3) Palasa 1978: This low budget film has made good buzz prior to its release and it turned out to be a decent film. However, releasing during Corona virus scare hasn’t helped its box office prospects.
4) Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante: This film has generated positive buzz and has made its presence felt at multiplexes in its second weekend.
5) Bhaagi 3: Tiger Shroff’s Bhaagi 3 had a decent first weekend across Hyderabad plexes.
Critics panned the film, but it has done reasonably well in its first weekend despite releasing at a time when Corona scare has gripped the nation.
