Telugu film industry is badly hit by the Corona crisis that has pushed it into insurmountable loss that will need at least three years to recover from.
Things look very bleak at the moment as the theaters are expected to be closed for a few more months.
Big films should be released after normalcy is restored to see bigger footfalls at the cinemas.
But there aren’t any big films that are ready for release or in the final stages of production as of now. Except for Vakeel Saab, every big movie needs a lot of time to make it to theaters.
Acharya and Radhe Shyam can only release in the second half of 2021 and #RRR is unlikely to hit the theaters next year.
Mahesh’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa will go to sets only by the end of this year and they may aim for Dussera 2021 or Sankranthi 2022 release depending upon how fast they can wrap up movies in the post pandemic times.
