After the Telangana government has decided to close movie theaters, the Telugu film industry is also closing down its operations.
There will be no shootings until March 21st. Narayana Das Narang of Telugu Film Chamber today declared that all crafts of the Telugu film industry have decided to halt the movie shootings for a week effective from today.
“This will also apply to shootings in foreign locations as well,” he said.
Megastar Chiranjeevi has already stopped the shooting of his ongoing movie “Acharya” and now entire Telugu films have come to the halt.
“Shootings require a large number of the crew working together in one place but the government has asked to avoid large-gatherings as a precautionary measure to contain the coronavirus. We have decided to stop all our activities for a week,” Narayana Das announced.
Rajamouli’s “RRR” and other big-ticket movies have to stop their shoots now.
