There were no films in theatres for three quarters of the year 2020 due to Lockdown. That was like a famine. But now it looks like a flood of new releases is going to inundate the theatres in 2021.
Almost all the big heroes like Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and many others are touching the box office this year.
As the 100% occupancy in theatres is also going to happen, all the heroes are in the mood of completing the films as soon as possible.
One crazy movie is going to release every month this year as per the present announcements. Already Krack and Red have seen light in the month of January.
In February the following films are coming up. Uppena (on 12th), Check (on 19th), A1 Express (on 26th), Zombie Reddy (on 5th) and Kapatadhari (on 26th). The expectations are good on Uppena and Check.
In the month of March Srikaram (on 11th), Gali Sapath (on 11th), Rang De (on 26th), Aranya (on 26th), Jati Ratnalu (on 11th) and Mosagallu (on 11th) are coming up. Out of these the expectations are high on Rang De and Aranya.
In April - Seetimar, Vakeelsaab, Love Story, Tuck Jagadish Virataparvam are coming up. Out of these Vakeel Saab and Tuck Jagadeesh carry expectations.
In the month of May, Chiranjeevi's Acharya will be releasing on 7th. There are assumptions that Balakrishna-Boyapati film will also be releasing this month. Chiranjeevi's Acharya will be releasing on 13th and Venkatesh's Narappa to release on 14th.
In June- Narappa, Chavu Kaburu Chalaga, 18 Pages and Khiladi are in line to release.
Varun Tej's Gani may come up in July. The proposed date is July 30th. KGF Chapter 2 is also scheduled to come up this month. Naga Shourya's Varudu Kavalenu also may join the list this month. The most ambitious project of Sesh will hit the screens on July 2nd.
Allu Arjun's Pushpa and F3 may come up in August on 13th and 27th respectively.
Ayyapyum Kozhiyum remake of PK and Rana may come in September.
RRR will be coming up in October.
For November and December of 2021 the filmslike Sai Tej's thriller movie, Pawan-Krish's film, Nithiin's Andha Dhun, Naga Chaitanya's Thank You, Nani's 'Ante Sundarinki' will be hitting the screens.
That way, for the first time in the history, a flood of films are lined up to hit the screens in 2021.
