Mahesh Babu and top director SS Rajamouli have moved to Odisha to film key sequences for their highly anticipated globe-trotting adventure thriller, marking their first-ever collaboration.
The film will be shot at various locations across India and abroad.
Rajamouli, known for primarily shooting on specially constructed sets in Hyderabad studios with extensive blue and green screen effects, rarely films in outdoor locations.
Even for RRR, he shot outside studios in only a few places, such as Pune and Ukraine.
However, for this new film, tentatively titled #SSMB29, Rajamouli has chosen to explore multiple real-world locations.
The film’s second shooting schedule will take place in the picturesque landscapes of Odisha’s Koraput district, including Deomali, Talamali, and Kalyamali.
The entire team, including Mahesh Babu, has already left for Odisha.
In addition to Indian locations, Rajamouli has also scouted sites in Kenya, which the team will move to later for further filming.
