The third single Avakaya Anjaneya was released today and unlike the first two songs, this one scored by Anudeep Dev is a folk number.
During the song launch, director Prasanth Varma revealed that the song was recorded two and half years ago, and they indeed started the shoot with this song.
“The teaser created hype for the movie. But people have lots of doubts about the film’s content. We are trying to tell the audience what kind of film this is going to be with the songs. Hanuman Chalisa is like a devotional song. The movie has a lot of devotion in it. Then we released the Superhero Hanuman song. That is mainly for kids. The movie has elements for kids. Now, we released Avakaya Anjaneya song. This will show the kind of mass and action elements are there in the movie. Hanu-Man is my most entertaining film to date. Kids will like it more. One of the major twists happens in the song. The audience of other languages won’t feel as if they are watching a dubbed film. Teja and I have been good friends for a long time and he got injured for almost every action block. He got injured while shooting this song as well. Every character has importance in the movie. I thank my producer Niranjan Reddy for giving me complete creative freedom in making the film.”
Teja Sajja stated that Hanu-Man is a proper Sankranthi film. “Mother is there to appease when we are annoyed, Lord Anjaneya is there to protect us, Avakaya is there to satisfy our hunger, and all these are deeply rooted in our culture. Prasanth tried to show that culture through this song and the film.”
Produced by Primeshow Entertainment, Hanu-Man will have a grand release worldwide on January 12th for Sankranthi.
