The first look of Prabhas in Project K might have received a mixed response on social media. But it surely made enough noise.
Nag Ashwin proves his critics wrong, as the glimpse of the movie which is out now takes us into another world.
The movie is titled intriguingly as Kalki 2898 AD. As we all know, Kalki is the final incarnation of the god Vishnu and is designated to appear in order to end the Kali Yuga.
The title is impressive, but upon initial inspection, some viewers have noticed similarities that appear to be a direct inspiration from the Hollywood film "Elysium" released in 2013.
The glimpse indicates the end of Kali Yuga begins with a great battle between good and evil forces. The story is set in the future- 2898 A.D.
A force rises when the world is taken over by darkness. Prabhas is introduced as a superhero with special powers and he is completely believable in the character.
The concept is completely unique and the presentation is no less than a top Hollywood movie, thanks to director Nag Ashwin for his vision and advanced thinking.
He is rightly supported by the technical team- cinematographer Djordje Stojiljkovic and music director Santhosh Narayanan to make it a magnum opus.
The glimpse also introduces the other lead characters played by Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. However, Kamal Haasan isn’t shown in it.
Producer Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies is mounting Kalki 2898 AD on global standards and the movie is announced to be released in 2024.
