It is time for the OTT debut of blockbuster director Harish Shankar and star producer Dil Raju. 'ATM', whose story is written by the 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' director himself, also marks the foray of Bigg Boss Telugu 5 title winner VJ Sunny into OTT. Its trailer was launched today at the hands of Harish Shankar.
Directed by C Chandra Mohan, the web series has been powered by 'DJ' and 'Gabbar Singh' director. He is its star showrunner. The series is brought out by ZEE5. The streaming giant also announced that the heist crime thriller will start streaming on its platform on January 20.
The 'Gaddalaknda Ganesh' director today said that he sees a lot of potential in the very genre of heist drama. The thieves in the series are going to be enigmatic and not stereotypical. The setting is realistic. We see the central character, played by VJ Sunny, showing his frustration with his slum life. He wants Nawab zindagi.
"Let me not reveal too much about the series. I would just say that it is a novel attempt that blends comedy with an exciting cat-and-mouse game," Harish Shankar today said.
Producer Harshith Reddy said that the series narrates the rollercoaster tale of four petty robbers who get cornered by some powerful forces. They are coerced into executing a multi-crore heist to stay alive. Subbaraju has got a strong role.
Besides Sunny, the series also features Krishna, Raviraj, Roiel Shree, and others. Directed by C Chandra Mohan, its music has been done by Prashanth R Vihari.
