Actress Tamannaah Bhatia will soon be seen in a special song opposite superstar Mahesh Babu in Telugu action film Sarileru Neekevvarua.
Ask her why and she says, “It’s because of director Anil Ravipudi garu. We have worked together in the comic caper F2: Fun & Frustration, and when he called me to say that he wanted me to do this special song in Sarileru Neekevvaru, I said sure why not! I love dancing and Anil is someone I truly respect and admire, how could I say no?”
Devi Sri Prasad has composed the number titled, Nee Dookudu which will see Tamannaah reunite with Mahesh Babu onscreen again after Aagadu back in 2014.
“Mahesh and I are coming together after a really long time, so I’m really looking forward to it. It’s going to be Mahesh’s introduction song in the film so you can imagine it will be one larger-than-life dance number that is designed to get the fans hooting and whistling. So yes, I’m going to have to put my best foot forward,” says Tamannaah, adding, “Not many know that Anil is quite an amazing dancer himself. So I know he’ll make sure I’ll look good on screen. In fact, we both bond very well on the typical filmy kind of dance.”
Also featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Prakash Raj, Sarileru Neekevvarua has been written and directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by AK Entertainments, GMB Entertainments and Sri Venkateswara Creations.
It is slated to hit theatres on January 11, 2020.
