Producer Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainments is making multiple projects and the production house is mounting small-time movies, besides producing high-budget movies with stars.
Swathimuthyam which marks the debut of young hero Ganesh and director Lakshman K Krishna is up for release on the 5th of this month.
The producer informs that the movie deals with the sperm donation concept. “Swathimuthyam is not the remake of any film. We explained the topic of sperm donation in a fun tone. The idea is very unique and the audience will come out of theatres with smiles on their faces.”
Naga Vamsi affirms Indians feel it taboo to even discuss sperm donation. “The director has dealt with the subject smartly and there is no offensiveness in the movie.”
Two big-ticket films- GodFather and The Ghost are coming for Dasara. “There is always a space during festivals. We’re taking the risk, hoping families will like this one.”
About Ganesh’s character, “The protagonist in the movie is an honest guy and definitely doesn’t belong to this generation. The whole drama happens around him. It’s a perfect subject for his launch pad.”
The producer says the movie will have 3 songs and music will be very crucial. They are planning premiere shows on October 4th.
“Swathimuthyam will have premieres in 9 to 10 cities in AP and Telangana. We’re hopeful of the shows to spread positive talk on the movie.”
The producer also gives an update on SSMB28.
“We are trying to convince Trivikram for an item song in the movie. Hopefully, he may accept. The film’s new schedule was supposed to start on the 9th. But it may get delayed due to the demise of Mahesh Babu’s mother. The movie will surely exceed all your expectations.”
