If reports are to be believed, the Tamil makers of the “Andhadhun” remake have managed a casting coup. Yes, they have reportedly roped in none other than Aishwarya Rai.
Bollywood blockbuster “Andhadhun” is being remade in Telugu with Nithin as a hero.
The Tamil version will have Prashanth reprising Ayushman Khurran’s role.
In the original, Tabu played a negative role, which is key to the story. Now, the makers have managed to convince Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to do the role in Tamil.
At the beginning of her career, Aishwarya Rai paired up with Prashanth in Shankar directed “Jeans”. Perhaps, she agreed to do this remake because of their old friendship.
The makers of the Telugu version have tried to rope in Nayanthara or Ramya Krishna but couldn’t succeed. Hence, Tamannah has been chosen to play the role.
Interestingly, the Tamil makers are considering Tamannah for the Radhika Apte’s character in their remake.
