Reflecting on her experience with Mumbai's rainy season, Sunny Leone recently shared her sentiments, admitting her affection for rainfall, albeit under specific circumstances.
During an interview with Hindustan Times, Sunny conveyed, “I adore the rains, but only when I don't have to step outside. When I initially came to India for work, I was living in Mumbai, very close to the ocean. I wasn't aware that such a deluge could descend from the skies!
My living space was impacted – the dampness affected my belongings and even caused my walls to bleed... Nevertheless, I relished the weather! Monsoon has evolved into one of my cherished times of the year. It brings a soothing coolness, and the sound of raindrops is a source of joy for me, although I avoid venturing out into it.”
Sharing a snippet of her encounter with the monsoon's challenges, Sunny unveiled, “I encountered significant loss due to the monsoon – three of my vehicles were damaged, with two of them being ruined on a single day.
I was devastated and tearful, considering the considerable taxes one pays for imported cars in India. One of the vehicles was an eight-seater Mercedes truck. Though I wasn't content, I understood that these events occur.
We can replace material possessions, and fortunately, no one was harmed. Presently, I drive a remarkable truck made in India, designed to handle monsoon conditions. It was a matter of selecting the right vehicle, and now I have an affection for my Indian-made cars.”
Delving into her children's joy during the rainy season, Sunny shared, “I encourage them to embrace the rains and delight in it, especially by leaping around in puddles. I ensure they're dressed warmly, adorned in rain jackets and boots.
As long as their health isn't compromised due to the rain... there are certain activities we avoid during this season, such as consuming outside sweets. To fulfill a pledge to my kids, I've taken up baking. They relish cakes and cookies, so I committed to creating them at home, and thus I've been quite occupied!”
