Lavanya Tripathi will have two releases this summer and A1 Express co-starring Sundeep Kishan will be her first outing. The film directed by Dennis Jeevan Kanukolanu is due for release on March 5th.
The actress says there’s no meaning in doing same kinds of roles even after being in the industry for so many years, thus she is looking for different scripts.
“I took break to do different films and then I got the offer of A1 Express. I liked the script and my role, so said yes.”
Hockey is one of the toughest games and Lavanya says though she is a fitness freak she had tough times learning the sport.
“I used to practice regularly under the supervision of my coach. I enjoyed the whole process, since I love sports.”
This is second film for Lavanya with Sundeep Kishan after Maayavan which was dubbed in Telugu as Project Z.
“There’s no romance between us in Maayavan. However, we’ve got lots of scenes to build chemistry in A1 Express. I really feel comfortable working with Sundeep Kishan.”
Lavanya Tripathi says A1 Express got amazing OTT offers, but she requested her makers to release it only in theatres.
“We’ve got some amazing offers for OTT release. Although my producers too wanted to release it only in theatres, I regularly used to enquire them about the same. At one stage, Sundeep Kishan scared to pick up my calls.”
The actress informs lots of changes were made in the script.
“Even though it’s a remake, nearly 50 % of the script is altered.”
