Director Sukumar will have to wait for another eight months to start his new film.
Allu Arjun will begin director Sriram Venu’s “Icon” as soon he wraps up the shoot of Trivikram’s romantic entertainer.
Allu Arjun recently had an altercation with a senior co-director Satyam on the sets of Trivikram when the said co-director didn’t inform the cancel of the shoot and change in schedules.
He got infuriated with the delays in the shoot. It was clear that he wants the film to be finished fast so that he would focus on “Icon”.
If Allu Arjun begins “Icon” first, it would disappoint Sukumar. Sukumar was to direct Mahesh Babu’s movie from September 2019 but he got miffed when the Superstar preferred Anil Ravipudi over him.
Mahesh Babu told Sukumar that he would finish Anil Ravipudi’s “Sarileru Neekevvaru” by December and will begin his film from Jan 2020. But Sukumar wanted his film to go to the sets before Anil Ravipudi’s film. Then he moved to Allu Arjun’s camp.
But as things stand today, Sukumar has not gained anything much.
