Stree 2 continues its unstoppable run at the box office!
Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the horror-comedy has now cemented its place as the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.
Remarkably, the film achieved this milestone in just 34 days, with more records likely to fall in the days to come.
The buzz around Stree 2 started early with its captivating trailer, eye-catching posters, and chart-topping songs, which had fans eagerly anticipating a sequel that would surpass expectations.
After the original film’s massive success in 2018, the pre-release excitement for the sequel matched the hype.
It even scored the highest pre-sales in Bollywood history, kicking off what would become a record-breaking run.
On its fifth Tuesday, Stree 2 maintained its strong momentum, earning an impressive ₹2.65 crores on day 34, pushing its total to ₹586 crores at the Indian box office.
Notably, Stree 2 was released exclusively in Hindi, whereas Jawan was available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan raked in ₹584 crores in Hindi, but Stree 2 has now overtaken it, claiming the title of the highest-grossing Hindi film ever.
With Amar Kaushik’s direction continuing to draw audiences, the film’s theatrical run is far from over, and it is poised to set new records that will be tough for future Bollywood releases to surpass!
