Popular writer and columnist Shobhaa De is coming up with her new anthology of stories with the title ‘Lockdown Diaries’. She penned all these stories during her lockdown time.
The interesting part is that the book is going to be launched by the hero of this season, Sonu Sood. The real hero who with his philanthropic heart has been at the forefront of efforts to send migrants back home via his ‘Ghar Bhejo’ initiative.
He has singularly, without the financial assistance of any political party, sent home thousands of migrants via road, rail and air.
So there can be no other hero who is suitable to launch this book.
Sonu Sood says of the author, “Shobhaa’s incredibly talented and I’m thrilled that she chose to bring such special lockdown stories in these trying times.”
On June 12, on the event of book launch, Sonu Sood is getting ready to read out some of her stories on a digital platform.
