Sri Simha, the son of renowned music director Keeravani, has come up with his latest film today, titled 'Ustaad'.
The movie has been released in a single theatre at Sudarshan 35 MM, situated at RTC Cross Roads.
Interestingly, the collection from the morning show has been recorded as Rs 71,020. Surprisingly, in a parallel occurrence at the same RTC Cross Roads, Chiranjeevi's 'Bholaa Shankar' screened at Sandhya 70MM has garnered Rs 61,820 from the morning show today.
The situation is similar for the shows of 'Ustaad' during matinee and evening shows. Why so?
It's revealed that the high figure of the morning show's earnings for this film are due to bookings made by the film's production team. Nevertheless, at first glance, it appears as if Sri Simha has managed to outshine Chiranjeevi.
Much to the embarrassment of Chiranjeevi, the morning show on the second day at the RTC Cross Roads garnered a rather modest turnout and fell short of achieving a full house.
In contrast, Rajnikanth's 'Jailer', shown at Sandhya 35 MM within RTC Cross Roads, successfully registered a packed audience for its morning show on the third day as well beating Bholaa Shankar.
While considering Sri Simha's triumph over Chiranjeevi is artificial, there's no denying that Rajnikanth surpassed Chiranjeevi's second-day earnings with his third-day collections.
