Trivikram has finalized the heroines for "Guntur Kaaram" after contemplating numerous names.
Pooja Hegde and Sreeleela were chosen first as the heroines, and he taped scenes with them as well. However, Trivikram and the film's hero, Mahesh Babu, had a falling out over the script.
Trivikram reworked the script for about two months. The filming restarted today. He changed the cast to reflect the new screenplay.
Mahesh Babu insisted on the removal of Pooja Hegde. Sreeleela has been cast as the main heroine.
