Sree Tej, a young boy, who was seriously injured in the stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the release of Pushpa-2 on December 4 last year, has been discharged from the hospital.
The incident occurred as massive crowds gathered to witness the film's premiere, leading to chaos and injuries.
After months of hospital treatment for critical injuries, Sree Tej has now been shifted to the Asian Transcare Rehabilitation Center by his family.
There, he will undergo physiotherapy for 15 days to one month, depending on his progress. Post-rehabilitation, he is expected to return home.
The stampede had sparked public concern over inadequate crowd control measures at popular cinema venues. Allu Arjun, the Pushpa 2 star, as promised is taking care of complete medical aid to Sree Tej.
Sree Tej’s recovery has brought relief to his family following the traumatic incident.
