Sonakshi Sinha is reportedly set to make her Telugu debut in the supernatural fantasy thriller Jatadhara, directed by Venkat Kalyan.
While an official confirmation is still awaited, sources suggest that she will star alongside Sudheer Babu in a never-seen-before avatar.
Blending mythology and supernatural elements, the film was announced last year, with a poster featuring Sudheer Babu released on social media. At the time, the female lead had not been finalized.
The project is scheduled to commence filming on March 8, and the team recently held a grand mahurat shot in Hyderabad on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.
Sonakshi is set for a busy 2025, as she also has the second season of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar in the pipeline.
On the work front, she was last seen in the horror-comedy Kakuda (2024), directed by Aditya Sarpotdar.
