Bigg Boss is a reality show where the audience will decide the winner. It is important for underdogs to grab the attention of viewers to survive in the house and win against popular names.
The underdog theory worked bigtime in the case of Kaushal and Rahul, the second and third seasons winners respectively.
The ongoing fourth season is different from previous seasons because there aren’t any influential celebrities in the house. This season is full of relatively unknown faces with a couple of known names.
Hence, the underdog theory isn’t working this time and the audience have been switching their loyalties from one to another depending upon the game play and behaviour of the contestants.
However, there is one contestant that seems to have gained solid support from the social media savvy youth. He is none other than Abhijeet, who seems to have strong PR besides the youth following.
There are not many moments to highlight Abhijeet’s gameplay, but his clarity of thought and the way he analyses the gameplay of other contestants is winning hearts.
Abhijeet has been the highlight last week as he exposed the true colors of Amma Rajasekhar, Avinash and Ariyana, all those who put up a show for the sake of cameras.
Bigg Boss’s creative team identified that Abhijeet is getting more votes compared to others and they have been trying to put him in a spot every weekend. But he is intelligent enough to not to fall into such traps. He carefully reads Nagarjuna's feedback and changes his game accordingly.
As of now, Abhijeet is a clear winner with nobody even close enough to make him sweat. Avinash who seemed to be a threat earlier has lost his way because of his theatrics and emotional blackmails. Interestingly, none of the housemates have realized Abhijeet’s fan following as yet.
We have to wait and see how they tackle him if they get clues from Bigg Boss.
